Inspection Service
We understand the need for precision, and the quality of the products we manufacture are a key tenet of our company ethos. As part of its AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certification, HSM Aero offers a full suite of product inspection services of any aspect of CNC machined parts and sheet metal fabrications.
- Standard surface finish to 1.6 Ra (Higher on request)
- General tolerance working to ISO 2768
- Positional tolerances up to ±5µm (0.005mm)
- Repeatability up to ±5µm (0.005mm)
- Fully traceable conformance check
- Periodic sampling, In-Process Cell Leader Checks
- First off inspection sign off prior to batch production
Inspection Secondary Service
HSM Aero can offer a number of CNC specific secondary services to support your project. For example, when specific production process monitoring is required or when additional part inspection sampling and detailed measurement is required. We can provide supporting document to satisfy FAI & PPAP requirements. They include the essential documents where applicable to the product, including:
- Cover Sheet (Part Submission Warrant)
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
- Measurement System Analysis
- Material Certification, and IMDS (International Material Data) submission

The policies and quality objectives are reviewed for continuing suitability twice a year.
