Becoming Best in Class

As part of our commitment to be ‘Best in Class’ mechanical supplier to the Aerospace and Defence industries, HSM is excited to have qualified an in-house paint capability.

Group Managing Director Steve Adams joined HSM Aero in January 2019 and has placed great emphasis on: Quality, Delivery, Security, Capability and Close Customer Collaboration. HSM Aero continues to invest in these covenants to provide a ‘Best in Class’ service to our Aerospace and Defence customers.

Steve explained: “Adding in-house painting gives us greater ownership over what is one of the last processes in mechanical manufacture, improving HSM’s control over quality and delivery. This capability also demonstrates our commitment to improving HSM’s ability to supply highly engineered mechanical parts to our Aerospace and Defence partners. The team and I look forward to sharing more news of our capability investment and continuous improvement projects”.

We worked closely with our Defence customers throughout the challenges of last year to understand their mechanical finishing requirements. Through this collaboration we are pleased to have qualified and proven our paint capability, enhancing HSM’s ability to fulfil customer requirements for high reliability products on time at cost.
